Nature in Gravina in Puglia seems to have decided to offer itself in one of its most successful shows. At the heart of the Murgia, a karst territory that is spectacular in its diversity, the city can boast a number of places to visit both close to or inside the city itself, and a little further away. The first site is precisely the area of the Gravina itself, this enormous ravine which has always been the backdrop to the life of the city and which is now preparing to become a protected and enhanced area thanks to the creation of an eco-museum. Also in the city is the area of the Robinson Park, or Pineta, a wonderful park overlooking the ravine itself. Finally, we must not forget that Gravina is within the Alta Murgia National Park, one of the largest and most fascinating parks in Italy, a rural park that boasts an incredible variety of flora and fauna and which also finds richness in its heritage of anthropological traces, from the many farms to its most important testimony, the Federico Castel del Monte, a Unesco World Heritage site.
